Traditional financial software measures investment risk. MyWealthExposure™ measures your exposure to Legislative Risk. The three examples below show how MyWealthExposure™ measures that exposure using your numbers.
MyWealthExposure™ first calculates the federal taxes and Medicare surcharges your current mix of accounts could create under today’s rules. If you leave retirement money to your children, it also models the federal tax they could face. This is your baseline before you change a rule.
Raise income-tax rates. Change Roth treatment. Increase Medicare surcharges. Delay RMDs. Shorten the inherited-IRA deadline. Change one rule and see the dollar impact.
Your financial statements show balances and performance. They don’t show how much of your wealth depends on rules you don’t control. MyWealthExposure™ reveals the exposure that doesn’t show up on your statement.
MyWealthExposure™ is designed for households with $500,000 or more in investable financial assets, especially when a meaningful amount is held in 401(k)s, traditional IRAs, Roth accounts, annuities, or taxable brokerage accounts.
Put in your numbers. See what today’s rules could cost. Change a rule and watch the dollars move. Then see your exposure to Legislative Risk.

MyWealthExposure™ is an educational modeling and stress-testing tool. Nothing here is legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice, a recommendation of any product, or a prediction of future law.
Estimates and modeled results: The figures shown are estimates generated from the information you enter, the assumptions used by the model, and the tax and retirement rules incorporated into the tool as of the date shown. They are intended to illustrate how different rules and assumptions can affect financial outcomes. They are not guarantees, forecasts of actual results, or calculations of your exact future tax liability. Actual results may differ materially because of changes in your income, account values, withdrawals, filing status, tax law, Medicare rules, personal circumstances, or information not included in the model.
Scenarios involving rule changes are stress tests. Depending on the scenario, they may reflect existing law, previously enacted changes, proposals, scheduled changes, historical precedent, or an expressly hypothetical change. They are presented to measure exposure to changing rules—not to predict what Congress or any government agency will do.
Income modeling: MyWealthExposure™ uses the adjusted gross income, taxable income, and tax-exempt interest you enter. If you identify taxable withdrawals already included from retirement accounts modeled here, the tool removes that amount from its starting income to reduce double-counting. Medicare surcharge modeling uses AGI plus tax-exempt interest as a simplified MAGI input and does not reconstruct every tax-return component or the Medicare two-year lookback. Only items specifically included in the model are reflected in the results.
MyWealthExposure™ is not tax-preparation software and does not replace a review of your complete financial and tax circumstances. Before relying on a modeled result for a tax, investment, retirement, insurance, or other significant financial decision, consider having the relevant facts reviewed by an appropriately qualified professional.
Scheduling a Personal Fit Review is initiated by you. The review is with a separately licensed financial professional. Balances are entered manually; this tool does not connect to financial accounts.
